Unfortunately, SHM is not immune to the increasing costs of technology, personnel, and other external charges that are beyond our control. Emeritus membership is available to hospitalists who have been a member of SHM for 10 or more years, are 65 years of age or older, and are working fewer than 20 hours per week.
