Current Rates 

Annual dues are set by member category. Due rates are valid through September 30, 2025. 1-, 2- and 3-year memberships are available. Save 5% on 2 or 3 year memberships – additional discounts not valid on multiyear memberships.

Service Charge
We are committed to delivering the top-quality services and products our members have come to expect and also committed to being transparent when assessing respective charges. Unfortunately, SHM is not immune to the increasing costs of technology, personnel, and other external charges that are beyond our control. To offset some of these increasing costs, some of the memberships below now come with a small service charge. Thank you for your support.

Emeritus

Emeritus membership is available to hospitalists who have been a member of SHM for 10 or more years, are 65 years of age or older, and are working fewer than 20 hours per week. If you believe you meet these criteria, please call our Membership Department at 800-843-3360 (option 1) or email membership@hospitalmedicine.org.
